It seems fitting that straight after my last post I publish this recipe! These Flour Free Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies may not be the healthiest thing to eat but if you are going to treat yourself then these are the perfect way to do it! Plus, they’re flour-less. There must be something healthy about that, right?
I like these because they’re quick to make and bake. Plus you pretty much just chuck everything in a bowl and combine so the washing up is minimal!
PREP TIME : 10 minutes
BAKE TIME : 10 minutes
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1 cup of crunchy peanut butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of chocolate chips (I always use dark because I prefer them)
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
½ cup of chopped peanuts (optional)
WHAT TO DO
- Preheat over to 160°c.
- Line a tray with baking paper.
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and combine with a wooden spoon.
- Roll a tablespoon of mixture into balls and place on the tray approximately 3cm apart. They will spread.
- Bake for around ten minutes or until golden. Watch closely because they can burn very easily.
- Cool on tray.
- Apply to face.
