Lot’s of happy moments but they can be so hard to capture!
I wanted to capture Little Man being a big boy and helping me carry things at the shops but instead I have this one on our afternoon walk. I love how he is so in awe of nature and the simplest things amuse him. Excuse the pun but I think we could all take a leaf out of his book!
Hello my pretty (new gate).
So many small moments today, from playing to drawing together, feeding the ducks and cuddle time. I remain thankful for every moment with Little Man. I’ve chosen this pic as all my others show his face but here is his rock line up at playgroup. Easily amused, fun to be around, intelligent, affectionate and unbelievably cute when concentrating, what’s not to be happy about when I get to spend everyday with my gorgeous boy.
I could talk about managing the epic tantrums Little Man has pulled off today, or the great walk we had where he fed the ducks and played with his friend on the park. But ending the day by coming home to freshly cut grass and LM helping his Daddy in the garden was the best feeling in the world – so I’m choosing that moment. I’m reminded that this is what we’re working towards with the garden reno’s – it’s all for you little dude.
I’ve had such a great day today. Breakfast with my boys at the beach, some ‘me’ time and a play date at the park before sleepy cuddles with Little Man. My niece even gave Hubby this flower specifically to pass on to me – my heart melted when he told me.
I had the choice of two photos and it just had to be this one (before you ask, it wasn’t me who was let loose with a box of chalk and minimal supervision).
New tiny clothes!!
I really like the first picture so am torn between choosing this one OR the chalk lady. I’m finding it hard not to think it is some kind of portrait of me since I had walked passed the little imps as they were drawing other stuff. I mean, the resemblance is uncanny – they’ve really captured the shorts I was wearing.
Until next time,
