#100daysofhappy

I can’t believe how quick the days are going. When I started this project it seemed like it would last for AGES but no, not too long to go until the big One Hundred at all…

Day 64

Quiet time is always something I look forward to because of all the tiny snuggles.

Day 65

Waiting months for a cinema date with Hubby finished off with a perfect tiramisu from a favourite restaurant. Nom Nom Nom!

Six years after first visiting Byron Bay (and getting engaged there), we finally made it to the lighthouse AND saw a pod of dolphins doing their thing.

Day 70

Watching heaps of chicks with the fam on our evening walk.
Watching heaps of chicks with the fam on our evening walk.

I’ve been on a mini-break to Byron Bay which was A.May.Zing! We could have stayed for extra days but no, we had already planned to come back home coinciding with the heat reaching 44°c. The only option was to crank the air-con up in the car and, when arriving home, to run into the house (dramatically clutching Little Man in my arms like we were the stars in an action movie) and place him in front of the house air-con for a further six hours. We decided it was best to not do our evening walk because we would have passed out from heat stroke before reaching the end of the driveway.

But I digress, I’ve been a little slack with the blog but I plan to share lot’s of photos from our holiday here and over at This Is Queensland (even though it’s New South Wales and a completely different State altogether but we won’t dwell on that fact). I also, embarrassingly, published a post too early about a little garden DIY I’ve been doing so if you read and thought “WTF is this?” I apologise and it will be republished soon in all it’s wonderful glory. Like with most of my crafty posts please do not have high expectations.

I also saw more, tinier chicks this morning at a different pond so there is definitely something in the water! Geddit? Hahahaha!

Until next time,

Katie
